This is our tribute to the artist on the centenary of the birth of Mayukh Chowdhury (real name Shaktiprasad Roychowdhury). It is difficult to compare him with others in the decoration of wild animals and his long ‘Robin Hood Comics Series’ will be forever cherished in the hearts of Bengali readers. In the current collection, a total of seven Robin Hood comics have been kept according to the publication period and two of his stories written about Robin Hood have also been included. Incidentally, no ‘digital color’ has been done to keep the taste of the original black-and-white vintage Robin Hood comics drawn by Mayukh Chowdhury intact.This is the first time that all the ‘Robin Hood’ comics and stories created by Mayukh Chowdhury have been brought together in two volumes.
